Trip nie consider trip dah basi sebab dah lama pada 28 June 09 - 1 st July 2009, now baru ada masa nak write about my experience over there. By the way my journey begin as usual la with Air Asia. This time my trip I went with my brother x gurlfriend (she already married btw)........
1st Day
Our journey take off smoothly at 7am (waktu Malaysia) and mendarat dengan selamatnya at 8.00 am (Cambodia time). Arrive at the airport dah rasa best sebab walaupun airport kecik tp cantik daripada Bandung. Sampai and nak lepas kastam semuanya cepat and tak ada masalah langsung. Keluar aje gate and ambik beg kami terus keluar and our tuk-tuk dah tunggu. Tuk-tuk guy nie dah di hantar oleh pihak guesthouse kami (tp this guy jugak yang bawak kami around Seam Reap sebab kebetulan dia ada connection with the guesthouse so tak payah ler kami tukar-tukar org). Our tuk-tuk guy for 4 days 3 nite is Mr Timothy dia boleh berbahasa Inggeris (not too good but we still can understand him so do him huhuhu) eden bagi 9 star for him. He charge us dalam USD 10-15 untuk 1 whole day kita cuma cakap nak pegi mana and he will bring us. So went straight to our guesthouse and settle all the bills for the 4 days 3 nite and got our key Room No 14. Check in at this guesthouse we get free massage about 20 minutes plus with welcome drink. Review about this room and guesthouse - superb for backpackers like us. After all done we went out for our brunch at Muslim Family Restaurant. From the restaurant we went straight to Tasik Tonle Sap. Hurmmm tasik nie mengajar kita erti kehidupan sebenarnya and it make me realise betapa untungnya kita hidup di Bumi M'sia. Aktviti sini tangkap ikan and jual la some ole-ole. Bayangkan surau terapung, gereja terapung, umah terapung and sekolah terapung. Menarik and worth for masuk sini at least kita boleh mempelajari/melihat cara kehidupan, tarian, perkahwinan dll. Hurmm selesai aje kart Culture Village kami balik ke tempat sama for our dinner and we went to bed very early at 10.30pm (waktu M'sia) and waktu sana at 9.30pm. End of our 1 st day.
2nd Day
Our journey start at 8am (local time), we went to Indian Vegetarian Food for our breakfast and we tapau some food for our lunch as well. Now we heading to Angkor and we take pass for 1 day first. Honestly sebab eden minat with architecture and I really enjoy my trip this time. And on top of that I had a very good partner as well. Its really amazing and now eden tau kenapa bnyk Mat Sallih minat and menghabiskan masa yang lama di kawasan Angkor. Kawasan Angkor nie memang besar giler and seriously memang penat nak berjalan. Sepanjang dalam kawasan Angkor kejap redup and kejap lagi panas terik. Masa kami tiba kart kawasan Angkor Watt (the last temple) hari dah gelap tapi semangat kuat so kami teruskan kart perjalanan kami dan kami berjaya cover the last temple nie. Nothing much but sesapa yang minat acrhitecture sure akan jatuh hati kart sini. Misi seterusnya nak ambik sunset tapi memang nasib tak sebelah kami walaupun tak hujan tapi memang mendung maka sun pun malu nak tunjuk muka huhuhuhu. So kami ambik keputusan heading back to town for our dinner at Maharaja and shopping time. We shop kart Noon Nite Market. Penat giler hari nie udah ler whole day kart luar and after that mengedik nak shopping pulak.
3rd Day.
Bangun agak lewat kerna semalam kami sungguh kepenatan. Hujan di sebelah paginya lagi ler menyebabkan kami malas nak bangun. Lagi pun kami dah janji with Timothy supaya datang lambat sebab kami nak tdo. Timothy smp dalam kul 11.45 and we heading to Maharaja for our brunch. We went to central market for additional shopping. Huhuhu kart sini eden berjaya membeli beg 65+15 liter jenama North Face only for RM70 maybe sebab eden beli dua maka eden dapat this price. Apa pun kart sana kita nak kena pandai bargain. Selesai aje area nie kami balik ke guesthouse untuk menikmati free massage selama 20 minit. Aktiviti hari nie free and easy aje cuma malam nie kami nak tengok aspara dance. Its free admission cuma kita kena beli drinks duduk and enjoy the show. Tempat menari nie depa call the Temple (actually same owner with our guesthouse). End our day here with Aspara dance.
4th Day
Time to say bye-bye and insyallah panjang umur and murah rezeki eden akan kembali. Flight kami at 0835am (local time).
Note :
- Currency - All in USD
- Accomodation : Golden Temple Villa - recommended by Lonely Planet. www.goldentemplevilla.com
- Tonle Sap : USD10 per person
- Aspara Dance : At the Temple - locationa at Pub Road. Tips better went there early for better seats.
- Shopping - My suggestion Noon Nite Market is the best but we need to bargain if possible we slash until 70% and we will get a very good deal. Personal opinion Central Market is very outdated things and yet so damm expensive.
- Halal Food : Muslim Family Restaurant - Ustad Hj Musa. Email : musasoleh@yahoo.com. (855) 12 946 220. Near An-Nikmah Mosque. And another halal food is restaurant Maharaja, lokasi near the pub street (been recommended by ustad Hj Musa).
- Highly recommended is our Tuk Tuk guy : Mr Timothy - timothy_mate@yahoo.com
